Sasha likes to compare herself to a chameleon. As a third-culture kid, she grew up speaking three languages and learned to adapt her colors, discovering that home is a sense of belonging rather than a single place. Today, Sasha dreams of spreading kindness and celebrating everyone’s unique colors through art. Based in the Bay Area, she finds inspiration in her Korean and Taiwanese American children. When Sasha isn’t creating, you would most likely find her scaling climbing walls just like her favorite reptile. Peek into her colorful world on Instagram @sashkinart.

Sasha completed her Master of Arts in TESOL at Biola University and worked as an International Student and Scholar Advisor at UC Berkeley helping visitors from all over the world. In 2015, she gave birth to her first child, and it was through the journey of motherhood that she began to see the world with childlike wonder again. Reconnecting with her inner child not only helped her embrace her new identity as a mother but also sparked her long-forgotten joy of storytelling through art. Sasha is based in the San Francisco Bay Area and is thrilled to debut her first picture book as an illustrator. You can see more of her work by visiting her page on Instagram: @sashkinart.
